Easter Celebration

Happy Easter. We always enjoy going up to see family and celebrating Christ's ressurection. It's also fun to dye eggs & hunt 4 candy. We hope you have a great Easter too!

Top o the Morn'n to Ya

Happy St. Patrick's Day. It's the first year I haven't done anything clever, like putting green food coloring in the toilette and telling my kids " leprechauns don't know how to flush their tinkle either!". Oh well. Another Year Older And Deeper in Debt!

Well I'm back from my trip to Texas. That is me with my brother after his winging ceremony. He is now officially a naval aviator. He took us on a tour while we were there of: the flight tower, radar room, seeing/sitting in training plane, and last but BEST the flight simulator! ....We went to the beach & alot of nice restaruants too. So now I am back and it's apparently my birthday. I am so jet lagged ...cant my birthday be next week! I say I'm jet lagged....but maybe I'm just OLD....or hung over from trying to keep up w/ my brothers and the other pilots!!

Coffee's never BEAN so good!

So, I watched the Colbert Report last night....I laughed so hard I cried, and almost peed! I have been making my own coffee at home but haven't bought a mocha in a while (not an easy thing for me), so when I saw Colbert's sketch on the early morning 3 hr delay of Starbucks opening ...and how this affected him....well let's just say: I RELATE! You can check it out on his site (the link to the show is on my page), last I checked it was in the upper right corner of the show's page under Critical Colbert. It will say something about threatdown or starbucks or coffee crisis. Hilarious. Well, I am trying to get packed for my trip to Texas and make sure the house is all picked up & stuff. I got my toes painted- a color I've never done before: blue/ stars....in honor of my brother in the NAVY who also is in Texas...and I hear the stars @ night are big and bright there! Get it? Of course you do! Anyone gonna go see the movie Penelope? I think I'm taking my girls one of these next couple days. Looks cute to me.

Well it was a great day all around for us. The kids and dogs played outside (...I think I got a bit of sun on my scalp). Jacob had baseball tryouts. Solon bought a new G string ( at the MUSIC store....to replace the broken one on his GUITAR)! I also got my birthday present early : a flash for my camera. So, then I made some porkchops (minus the applesauce) for dinner, and after dinner I took my oldest to the book store to spend the last of her gift cert. She picked a book to help her draw Manga style...or Japanese anime. I might try a character or two myself...?
